Precious is no longer alive any more. It was a terrible day that I will never forget...please don't ask me what happened, it's much too painful to remember, I can only say that from my viewpoint she died in vain and very cruelly....and I remember...and it hurts. I just want to make a tribute to her, that's the least I can do, It's taken a long time just to be able to do this. The memories are still too fresh. But Here is a little bit about Precious.Hopefully she will be in Heaven lining the streets of Gold .And also one more thing, it wasn't just Precious ...for she was bred and about halfway through gestastion, SO there were also all those tiny unborn baby Goldens inside of her .......

I acquired Precious when she was almost 2 years old. Precious is from Daisy and Rusty's Litter, she was the "runt" of the litter.  I had picked out Precious as a gift to My Oldest  Brother and his family. As when she  was a puppy I always  called her by that name Precious. My brother and Sister In Law , named her Precious, and did not know until recently that I had also called her by that name, I guess it was a sign she was mine, and would return :)

Anyway, Precious had never been around another dog, so you can imagine her reaction to her new home full of Goldens 12 of them .It only took her ~ not even a week and she was right at home and ready to play. She loves to participate in the fetching competition, and just to make it interesting she has added a new twist to the game, and that is ~ if SHE gets the ball, the others have to chase her to get it from her.They are just a blast to watch. She still has a little adjusting to do here at Country Golden Acres, sharing is one, since she was used to being the ONLY one for 2 years,she was greedy with her food, but she is coming around.

A few more of Precious many talents is ,she is extremely fast runner and can jump about 5 feet or more off of the ground, she is amazing, if we didn't know better we would think she was part Kangaroo (ha ha).

Precious had her first litter successfully by herself and did an excellent job. She is a wonderful mother!! She has many many Characteristics of her Mother" Daisy".

II  have gotten a few updates from some oft he families who purchased Precious Puppies. I will try to make an update page and post the updated pictures of her offspring soon.One picture I received was of one of her daughters , she looked like an identical twin to Precious.
